Featured Bios -Joe Finley and Bryan Nishimoto

Joseph Finley CDMBA (FedEx)

Joseph Finley is a student in the CDMBA program currently sponsored by FedEx. A graduate of Emerson College (Marketing/Communications), Joseph has amassed over 7 years of experience in marketing with a concentration in the area of online marketing. Among his previous positions, Joseph worked with BBN Technologies to help market their existing government-funded technologies to clients in the private sector. In regards to the online space, Joseph worked with internet properties such as EveryZing to help build their membership base, increase traffic and recruit for and maintain affiliate partnerships.

During his tenure in the CDMBA program, Joseph has worked with the Digital Access, Marketing Research, and Interactive Marketing departments within FedEx on special projects that have allowed him to build upon his prior experience and gain valuable insight into one of the most recognized brands in the world.

When not working or studying, Joseph enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family  and taking in a movie.

Bryan  Nishimoto

Bryan Nishimoto earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California Irvine. After graduating, Bryan received the National Science Foundation Fellowship for graduate students and chose the Georgia Institute of Technology as his graduate institution. After completing his masters degree in Materials Science Engineering at Georgia Tech, Bryan worked at Smith and Nephew Orthopaedics in the Visionaire department where he was credited for the development of several new innovative surgical instruments including the Smith and Nephew Patient Matched Cutting Blocks and Patient Matched Birmingham Hip Resurfacing Drill Guides.

Among his non-scholarly roles, Bryan is an Eagle Scout, a volunteer phone counselor, an avid outdoorsman, and a recreational runner. In his free time, Bryan enjoys watching TV, movies, playing games, and attending social gatherings.
